Tyger, Tyger By Kersten Hamilton Book Review

Teagan Wylltson's best friend, Abby, dreams that horrifying creatures--goblins, shape-shifters, and beings of unearthly beauty but terrible cruelty--are hunting Teagan. Abby is always coming up with crazy stuff, though, so Teagan isn't worried. Her life isn't in danger. In fact, it's perfect. She's on track for a college scholarship. She has a great job. She's focused on school, work, and her future. No boys, no heartaches, no problems.
Until Finn Mac Cumhaill arrives. Finn's a bit on the unearthly beautiful side himself. He has a killer accent and a knee-weakening smile. And either he's crazy or he's been haunting Abby's dreams, because he's talking about goblins, too . . . and about being The Mac Cumhaill, born to fight all goblin-kind. Finn knows a thing or two about fighting. Which is a very good thing, because this time, Abby's right. The goblins are coming!!!!
~Haunted Rose's Review~
I have to admit I took one look at this book and thought this is going to suck big time. That is called judgeing a book by its cover and I never do that so I decided I would give it a shot. I was bored in the beginning because I thought it was going to turn into a religious freak book but Teagan's monkey friend Cindy captured my attention. Teagan has this perfect plan to do good in school and go to college and nobody can interrupt that plan of hers until Finn moves in. Teagan's parents always tell stories and paint pictures of this goblin universe in their Irish tales but Teagan never believed they truelly existed. Finn moves in and flips Teagan's world upside down and now believes in the cat-sidhe (cat- shee). When one steals her dad from her she is determined to get him back even if she has to go to Mag Mell. There she learns that she has goblin blood and she starts to believe Finn can't love her becuase he is the Mac Cumhail the only goblin hunter. In the end Finn tells her he loves her and thus starts the Goblin Wars. This book was really different and that is why it is one of my favorites. I hardly ever see paranormal books with ban-sidhes in them and if I do I have never seen one where the goblin loves the goblin hunter. There were parts that I could have guessed that happened but there were also ones I was completely surprised. If your tired of reading the same old books but still love the paranormal world I suggest you read this one.

Reasons why I am anxiously awaiting the 2nd book-
Will Finn really love Teagan?Does Cindy the monkey escape the zoo with her lover? Will Teagan fall into the goblin darkside? Why is Thomas growing feathers.. again? What song will Aiden sing next? Will Abby finally believe that goblins are hunting Teagan? Will Lucy eat chocolate until she is a chubby little sprite?I wanna know!!!!!!!!!!!

I give it 4 out of 5 Haunted Roses
